The Goverment of Ghana, acting through the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAD) is undertaking CAP 30 Pensioners National Identification Card/Biometric Data Verification exercise. The purpose of the exercise is to link the NIA (Ghana Card) numbers with the Pension Database in order to clean up the system to ensure that benefits are paid to legitimate pensioners.
Accordingly, all Ghanaian pensioners abroad are required to submit the under-listed documents in person to the Ghana Mission for onward submission to the CAGD through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration by 31st August, 2023.
i. GHANA CARD (COPIES OF FRONT AND BACK);
ii.PENSION ADVICE; AND
iii.PENSION FORM 1.
Pensioners without the Ghana Card are required to submit the two other documents together with their completed Life Certificate while taking steps to obtain their Ghana Card.
Those who do not have the Pension Advice and Pension Form I are to submit a copy (front and back) of their Pension ID Card.
