Her Excellency Mrs. Charis Obetsebi-Lamptey Zwennes has been the Ambassador of Ghana to the Republic of Korea since July 2021. She was previously a Director of Carlton Properties Limited.

Ambassador Charis Obetsebi-Lamptey Zwennes began her professional career as a Research Executive of Research International Ghana, and then joined Ammirati Puris Lintas as a Copywriter and then later, Head of Copy Department, finally ending her career in Advertising as a Client Service Executive.

Ambassador Charis Obetsebi-Lamptey Zwennes obtained her Bachelor of Science ( with a Major in Marketing) from the American Business School, Paris, France, an affiliate of the University of Delaware in the United States. She is married with three (3) children .
