The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Seoul wishes to advice the general public, especially the business community and prospective businessmen and women in South Korea that business offers received from Ghana, should be verified for authenticity at the Embassy of Ghana before any financial commitments are made.
This has become necessary due to the rising incidences of fraud around the world.
Grateful disseminate the above information to all business partners and friends in South Korea, to prevent any individual or entity falling prey to fraudsters or scammers.
Thank you.
THE GENERAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN SOUTH KOREA
The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Seoul wishes to inform all Ghanaian residents in South Korea and the general traveling public that the Government of Ghana has implemented the digitization of COVID-19 PCR test results for ease of verification prior to travel and upon arrival in Ghana.
In this regard, all travelers arriving in Ghana are to use a tool made available through the UNDP-supported Global Haven Partnership (www.globalhaven.org) for the COVID-19 PCR test results certificate verification.
The digitization is aimed at stopping the circulation of fake test results, which if not checked, could damage the country’s effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 infection through imported cases.
Effective 21st April, 2021, all travelers departing from Ghana are informed that only COVID-19 test results or certificates bearing Trusted Travel or BIOMARS codes will be considered valid for travel. Due to this, all travelers are encouraged to sign up for accounts on http://trustedtravel.panabios.org/trusted-testing/signup/with the same e-mail address and mobile numbers provided to the laboratories during testing. It is worth nothing that the new technology platform covers all the authorized COVID-19 PCR Testing laboratories in Ghana.
Further information on the overall initiative is available on: https://www.ghanahealthservice.org/covid19/ and africacdc.org/trusted-travel.
It would be very much appreciated if the above information is disseminated among our compatriots in South Korea and the general traveling public.
Thank you.
